Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to enable self-awareness, and therefore gives you the ability to change aspects of your life that are not working for you. Therapy opens doors to finding compassion for yourself, as you gain insight into your emotional and behavioral life. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and that providing a safe, non-judgmental environment is key to the process. I have a great deal of experience and love for working with adolescents, as well as adults.
I have master’s degrees in both social work and educational theater, and have four years of post graduate psychotherapy training in Gestalt therapy. My specialties include relationship issues, issues of self-esteem, and other emotional problems such as anxiety disorders, depression and self-harming behaviors.
My background in the arts, as well as my training as a yoga teacher have deeply influenced my practice, and help me to be present, creative and compassionate with the people with whom I work.
